Biography

I have been teaching English language and linguistics for 15 years including seven in South Korea. Before moving to СÀ¶ÊÓƵ I was teaching at the University of Liverpool and Liverpool Hope University and I am interested in corpus linguistics, vocabulary studies and new World Englishes especially Asian Englishes. I have recently been exploring connections between formulaic language and natural selection and I am working on a team project to explore the language of science forums; I am happy to consider applications from research students in any of these or other related areas.
